How to use MHG WIRE

Everything for HQ Beercade + Machine, Victory & Vice and Dearly Beloved in one place: tonight's floor, sales, manager notes, events, reviews, team chat and venue tasks. Pick a topic below, or scroll through it all.

1 · Logging in

Look for the email "Your MHG WIRE link" from Brian, or open mhghub.netlify.app and press Open MHG WIRE.
The link opens on claude.ai. Sign in with your own MHG email (for example jimmy@machinehospitality.com), the same address the link was sent to. Use "Continue with Google" if it's offered.
If you see Request access, press it. Brian approves you, and the page opens next time.
The first time, the page asks to use your Gmail and other connections. Press Allow. That's how it reads the Avero, SevenRooms and Tripleseat emails in your inbox.
Bookmark the page or add it to your phone's home screen: in your phone's browser use Share → Add to Home Screen.

You only see the venues Brian gives you. If a venue is missing, ask Brian to add it in Admin → People & access.

2 · The home page

Venue buttons at the top (All venues · HQ Beercade + Machine · Victory & Vice · Dearly Beloved) filter the whole page to one venue.
Refresh reloads everything. Live parts also update on their own.
The section bar (Reservations, Sales, Manager notes, Events, Speakeasy, Staff, Reviews) jumps straight to that section and stays pinned while you scroll. You can also just scroll through it all.
The Team row opens Team chat, Venue tasks, Admin, the Directory and this guide. They open full screen inside MHG WIRE. Press ← MHG WIRE (or Esc) to come back.
The Log in to row opens Toast, SevenRooms, Tripleseat, Speakeasy, Sling, Shifty and Avero. Each one asks for your own login for that system.
The colored number cards are tonight's to-do list: new leads, reservations booked, flagged notes, and reviews waiting for an answer.

3 · Reservations & walk-ins

During service, each venue's floor comes live from SevenRooms every 2 minutes: reservations and walk-ins, with party size, table, spend and status.
Status colors: green = Seated or Paid, grey = Left, plain = booked but not here yet.
"Live floor from SevenRooms · N parties seated now" tells you how busy the room is right now.
Click a day to see that day's reservations. Press a reservation to open it in SevenRooms.

4 · Sales

Live from Toast · today so far updates about every 15 minutes: net sales, checks, guests, average check and top sellers.
HQ Beercade and Machine are split. Machine is the "Machine Cocktail Bar" revenue center and shows $0 when it's closed.
Below that is the Avero nightly recap for the last closed night, compared with last week and last year.

5 · Manager notes (Avero)

You see tonight's Avero Logbook notes from every manager, plus last night's flagged notes.
To add a note, pick the venue and type, write it, then press:
- Save + add to Avero: saves it here, copies the text and opens Avero. Paste it into the Logbook.
- Save here only: keeps it in MHG WIRE only.

6 · Events (Tripleseat) & Speakeasy

New Tripleseat leads show up with how long they've waited. Red means no one has started an event thread yet. Answer those first.
Speakeasy table and event requests for V&V show under Speakeasy.
Press any lead to open it in Tripleseat or Speakeasy to reply and book it.

7 · Staff

On the clock now comes from the Toast time clock: who's working, their hours and labor so far.
Sling's daily schedule email shows below it. Use the Sling or Shifty button to swap or pick up shifts.

8 · Reviews

New reviews from every venue land here, with the lowest ratings first.
Press a review, then Draft with Claude for a reply in the venue's voice, or write your own.
SevenRooms feedback: Send to guest emails your reply straight to the guest from your Gmail.
Google, Yelp and OpenTable: copy the reply, post it on that site, then press Mark response sent.
The review then shows ✓ Response sent with who answered and when, so no one answers it twice.

9 · Team chat (replaces group texts)

Open 💬 Team chat. Company is for everyone. Each venue has its own channel for its team.
Type in the box at the bottom and press Send. Press Reply on a message to keep a conversation together in a thread.
You can Edit or Delete your own messages.
Turn any message into a task with → Task. It goes to that venue's task list with a link back to the message.
In a long thread, press Pull tasks. Claude reads the thread and suggests the tasks, owners and due dates in it. Keep the ones you want.

Keep work talk here instead of texting, so the whole team sees the same info and nothing gets lost.

9b · Groups (bar team, kitchen, ops, socials…)

In Team chat, press ＋ New group in the left menu, under Groups.
Name it, or tap an idea: Bar team, Kitchen, Ops, Marketing / Socials, Managers, Events, Security / Door.
Pick the venue it's for, or All of MHG. Then press Add next to each person.
Press Create group. Only the people in it, plus admins, can see it.
Open the group and press Members & settings to add or remove people, rename it, or delete it. The person who made the group controls it. Members can press Leave group.

Who's who: Master admin sees and controls everything. Venue admin adds people and runs groups and tasks for their own venues. Managers and Team members see their venue's channel, #company and the groups they're in.

10 · Venue tasks

Open ✓ Venue tasks and pick a venue, or All my venues.
Type in "Add a task for …" and press Add.
Press a task to set Assigned to, Due date, Priority and Status, and to add details and steps.
Use Comments on a task for updates ("ordered the part, arrives Tuesday").
Mark it done when it's finished. Filters show only your tasks, or show finished ones too.

11 · Company directory

📇 Company directory has the V&V and MHG directories. Search by name, role or venue, and tap an email or phone number to contact someone.
Admins: ＋ Add person, Remove, and Send link, which emails a person their MHG WIRE link after you confirm.

12 · Trouble?

"Live data needs this page open in claude.ai": you opened a copy. Use the link from your email and sign in.
A section is empty: press Refresh. If it asked to use Gmail and you said no, open the page's Permissions menu and allow it.
"You don't have permission": ask Brian to raise your access in the Share menu.
Missing a venue: ask Brian to add it under Admin → People & access.
Anything else: post it in Team chat → Company.
